Funding Made Easy
At Me2Be Therapeutic Services, we want to make accessing therapy easy and possible for every family. We help families use the funding options available to them, whether it be through private insurance, government programs, or community grants so children can get the support they need.
Our Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Consultants can be part of your child’s care team, with flexible options to meet your family’s needs.
Helping families access the care they need.
Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD)
The Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program is offered through the Government of Alberta. When approved, the majority of your therapy costs are covered.
You can check eligibility and learn more on the Government of Alberta FSCD website.
At Me2Be, we currently support families who choose to manage their own team through a Family Managed Services (private hire) contract.
With this option, you can:
Select the therapists and supports that best fit your child and family
Design schedules that work with your routines
Create supports that align with your family’s goals and values
Combine different types of support as needed
If you already have FSCD approval, speak with your caseworker about setting up a Family Managed contract so Me2Be can join your team.
Effective Nov 1, 2025, we can now direct bill to FSCD.
Jordan’s Principle
Jordan’s Principle ensures all First Nations children have access to the supports they need, when they need them. This funding can cover a wide range of health, social, and educational services.
Métis Families may also access support through the Otipemisiwak Métis Government and initiatives such as Flourishing Futures.
Me2Be is experienced in collaborating with families to set up services through these pathways.
Autism Canada Community Assistance Program (CAP)
The Community Assistance Program (CAP) provides financial support to autistic individuals, their families, and caregivers. CAP helps offset the costs of essential services not covered by provincial health plans, including psychological assessments, speech language, occupational, or behavioural therapy and other mental health or physical therapies & interventions. The program also offers funding for respite care, providing relief for both autistic individuals and their caregivers while helping to reduce the strain on the mental healthcare system.
Me2Be is a registered and approved Service Provider on the Autism Canada’s CAP Roster and can submit applications on a family’s behalf.
Private Insurance Providers
Many private insurance plans offer coverage for Occupational Therapy services. We’re happy to provide detailed receipts and documentation to help you submit your claims directly to your insurance provider. We presently only direct bill to Alberta Blue Cross.
